Robert Hawkins - Comedian with Performing and Writing Experience
Robert Hawkins is an Orlando-based comedian whose stand-up material can be heard on satellite radio as well as all music streaming platforms. After working for three years as a medic in the United States Army, Robert Hawkins began pursuing a career in comedy in 1990. He worked briefly as a doorman at Improvisation in Dallas, Texas, and, around the same time, was an instructor and comedian at the Comedy Defensive Driving School.
Over the course of his three-decades-long career, Robert Hawkins has performed in comedy clubs, colleges and corporate events across America. Winner of the Comedy Competition at California State University, he also performed at the Las Vegas Comedy Festival, the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal, and the Moontower Comedy Festival. He had a special on Comedy Central and made appearances on Late Night with Conan O'Brien and the Late Show with Craig Ferguson.
In addition to performing throughout the United States, he told jokes in 16 countries for American service members and allies as part of Comics On Duty. Mr. Hawkins also spent two years as a writer, story editor, and actor on the sitcom Titus.
